taizo kuroda

"a shape derives from the moment formlessness encounters form"

- Nobuhiro Yamaguchi
White Porcelain of Taizo Kuroda

"Now, in serene seclusion − but near the peak of his career −
he lives in a house built of cedar and cypress, with plain white walls,
pure, simple and edited like his ceramics,
surrounded by trees and bamboo, looking over Sagami Bay,
and works in his next-door studio, just as ordered and uncluttered."

- Michael Dunn

got accepted to take part in the Devon Guild's xmas exhibition,
had some wonderful compliments about our work ....

it's lovely to know that people really get what we are about

mandala custom shapes

these are some of the most beautiful boards we have ever seen

it would be a shame to put wax on them but
it would be more of a shame to not use them

monika

just finished reading my copy of Monika
an anonymously produced arts journal

issue 1: the anon

"the artists and writers contributing to this debut issue were asked to submit work exploring the theme of anonymity. Their varied responses demonstrate that ambiguity is not devoid of personality."

of course, I liked it
